Deepen China-Thailand Strategic Cooperation in Medical Industry | HuiShen Exhibits at the 23rd "Healthy Silk Road" – 2026 Shanghai Voyage Economic & Trade Exhibition (Thailand Medical Services Special Session)
From May 19 to 20, 2026, the 23rd "Healthy Silk Road" – 2026 Shanghai Voyage Economic & Trade Exhibition (Thailand Medical Services Special Session) grandly opened at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre.
Supported and guided by the Foreign Affairs Committee of Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, the exhibition was co-hosted by the Shanghai Federation of Industrial Economics, Shanghai Modern Service Industry Federation, Shanghai Public Diplomacy Association and Yangtze River Delta Medical Device Industry Development Promotion Association. It also received strong support from authoritative institutions including the Commercial Section of the Chinese Embassy in Thailand, Thailand Trade Institute, Federation of Thai Industries, Thai Medical Device Technology Industry Association and Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce for Investment and Trade.
As the kick-off event of the "Healthy Silk Road" series and the first medical-themed special session of the Shanghai Voyage touring exhibition, this event focuses on advanced medical equipment, medical consumables, medical services and health consumption sectors. It has built an international professional platform for efficient exchanges, supply-demand matching and business cooperation between Shanghai and Southeast Asia’s medical industries.
Nearly 80 leading medical and health enterprises from Shanghai and over 160 Chinese representatives gathered at the exhibition, attracting more than 1,500 industry professionals from Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, India and other Southeast Asian countries for visits and business negotiations. The opening ceremony brought together government, business, industry association and medical institution representatives from China and Thailand. Leaders and industry guests from multiple countries delivered speeches in succession, highly affirming the value of two-way cooperation in the China-Thailand medical and health industry, and stating that the exhibition injects fresh momentum into in-depth collaboration of the two countries’ big health sectors and overseas market expansion for enterprises.

Nearly ten high-profile special events were held concurrently during the exhibition, covering Sino-Thai product and technology showcases, medical market registration and regulation briefings, industry association forums, enterprise site visits, and over a hundred one-on-one targeted business matching sessions. Centered on core topics including Thailand’s medical market landscape, medical device registration compliance policies, cross-border industrial coordination and practical overseas expansion paths for enterprises, the sessions featured in-depth sharing and discussions, providing authoritative policy interpretation, compliance guidance and channel empowerment for Yangtze River Delta medical enterprises seeking to enter the ASEAN market.
The exhibition yielded fruitful results. The Yangtze River Delta Medical Device Industry Development Promotion Association and the Thai Medical Device Technology Industry Association formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement to establish a long-term regular collaboration mechanism. More than 250 potential purchasing clients were matched on-site, with an estimated 50-plus cooperation projects in the pipeline. Multiple industry institutions reached preliminary strategic cooperation intentions with Chinese exhibitors. Follow-up product promotion and channel resource introduction will be carried out to help premium medical and health products gain deeper traction in the Southeast Asian market.
HuiShen Medical showcased its core product lineup at the exhibition, drawing crowds of local Thai medical institutions, professional buyers and industry representatives for consultation and negotiation. The HuiShen team held in-depth exchanges with numerous Thai medical institutions and professional purchasers, discussing application scenarios, cooperation models and market rollout paths for intelligent rehabilitation and neuromodulation products in Southeast Asia, and reached multiple preliminary cooperation intentions, laying a solid foundation for subsequent market expansion.
During the exhibition, Mr. Suthi Triwiwat, Chairman of the Medical Device Manufacturers Club under the Federation of Thai Industries, visited HuiShen’s booth. He learned in detail about the technical features and clinical application scenarios of HuiShen’s products, conducted thorough discussions with the team on cooperation directions for rehabilitation medicine and smart elderly care between China and Thailand, and spoke highly of the technical concepts and market potential of HuiShen’s product portfolio.
