Recently, the 4th People's Kangyang Conference, hosted by the People's Livelihood WeeklyMagazine Agency, was grandly held at the New Media Building of the People's Daily Office in Beijing. Under the theme "Forging Ahead in the '15th Five-Year Plan' Period, Jointly Promoting the High-Quality Development of China's Kangyang Undertakings and Industries,"​ the conference closely aligned with the national strategic deployment for actively responding to population aging. It brought together stakeholders to discuss new trends, opportunities, and pathways for the silver economy, gathering consensus and strength to promote the standardization, industrialization, and technological advancement of the kangyang sector.

Li Wei, Member of the Standing Committee of the 13th CPPCC National Committee, Director of the Committee for Economic Affairs, and Former Director of the Development Research Center of the State Council; Zheng Gongcheng, Member of the 14th NPC Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the China Democratic League, and President of the Chinese Association of Social Security; and Yu Xuejun, Former Vice Minister and Member of the Leading Party Members' Group of the National Health Commission, and Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group of the China Family Planning Association, delivered keynote speeches at the conference.
